Guided tour of the Fire Services Museum

EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO COVID LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS IN VICTORIA 

Located in the former HQ of the Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade, the award winning Fire Services Museum Victoria, was opened in 1979.

The Museum includes a collection of over 10,000 fire related items collected both nationally and internationally and includes Country Fire Authority, Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade and Fire Rescue Victoria fire appliances, personnel histories, memorabilia and associated items.

Afterwards, join us for a networking lunch at Sir Osborn Cafe on the ground floor of Orica House, 1 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne.

 

2021 TGA Industry Day

This is a day when we come together right across Australia to celebrate our profession and be inspired about the future of our profession.

We have an amazing line-up of presenters who represent organisations that influence the work of guides and tour operators at a national level.

This will be a hybrid event with attendees meeting in person in

Melbourne    –  Cairns   –   ZOOM 

The day begins early with a local professional development focus at each of the three venues. Then, our national audience comes together at 9.15am for an official welcome.

Our first session is a not-to-missed virtual tour ‘Around the Grounds’ to discover the resilience and adaptability of guides and operators working in our major regions and their perspectives on the future of guiding.

We will hear from key leaders in the tourism industry:
