Discover the forgotten North West regional Victoria. Wimmera and Southern Mallee history tours based around the Hindmarsh, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack shires.

We visit the early squatters of the 1840 on and follow the growth of the region as it transformed from open range grazing of the Squatters to the Selectors and their farms.

Visit historic sites and hear about the lives of the first settlers in the area, visit their homes and lonely graves scattered in remote arrears. See their simple homes and brush structures, See the netting fence, constructed in the late 1880’s to stop the spread of rabbits and dingoes, see museums and experience the remote Mallee bush land and the desert parkland of Wyperfeld National park with its unique landscape flora and fawner.

Tours can be arranged for specific sites, or from half day all the way to three day tours taking in the entire region visiting the Big Desert and Little Desert.
